  • Guided Historic Homes Walk

3.00pm Walk from Coronation Park to Rose Street.View some of Waipawa's oldest homes and hear the stories.

  • Grand Opening of the Childrens Playground in Nelly Jull Park and Picnic Concert

6.00pm After the official opening of the Children's Playground, settle in with your picnics and rugs for an evening concert

Cars and vehicles built prior to 1919 will converge on Central Hawkes Bay when the Vintage Car Club of NZ hold their National Rally.

This event is a first for Hawke's Bay and cars can be viewed prior to Waipawa's 150 year celebratory parade in High St, Waipawa on the morning of the 13th February 2010.

The oldest car entered is a 1903 Holley, one of only three in the world.

The CHB Aero Club are celebrating their 75th Jubilee.

Saturday is 'Open Day' with aircraft flying in from around the country. 

On Saturday walk through the Southern DC - 3 Gold coin donation.

Tickets for flights can be purchased from your local Farmlands.

There will be static and flying displays.

Saturday evening is BBQ night for aviators, family, friends and members.
